What is IEMT?

IEMT uses simple eye movements and questioning techniques to change a particular thought pattern, emotion or memory that may be a problem.

IEMT techniques help to create change by rapidly reducing unwanted feelings to help you to resolve some emotional issues. Moving our eyes in certain ways appears to connect to the part of the brain that stores our memories and emotions. For reasons that are not yet fully understood this can lead to a rapid release of emotions bringing about long term relief.

Unlike many psychological therapies, IEMT does not require you to disclose lots of details about your experience or give details about troublesome events. You need only tell me what you want to, the therapy will be just as effective if you want to keep things private.

What's involved?

A typical session will involve me asking some specific and directed questions. You are asked to concentrate on the answers to those questions while I instruct you to move your eyes by pointing and moving my fingers in the direction required. As your eyes move your amazing brain will begin the process of dealing with your issue, leaving you with a different perspective on it.

This therapy is particularly useful for such issues as; fears, phobias, traumas, troublesome memories and post-traumatic stress disorder. I use a mixture of IEMT and hypnotherapy to address whatever you bring to me.
